Each year, the first graders at Taylor Elementary put on a patriotic program with songs and a script. They did a great job, and no, I didn't play the piano this time! Caleb had been coming home telling us about some of the songs he learned, but of course, would NEVER sing them for us! I was literally laughing and giggling out loud as I watched the performance. My little guy, who was placed right in the center of his classmates, was singing his heart out! It was darling! You know the kid that tries extra hard to open their mouths and really, really sing? That was Caleb. It was awesome! I'm always impressed when all of these little kids sing The Star Spangled Banner, it's just beautiful! They know every word and it's just so sincere. Yes, I'm a proud mom!
