Right before Caleb's first t-ball game started Caleb grumpily asked, "Why do I have to play with babies?" I'm thinking great, this is going to be one long season. He quickly got into the game and decided that his favorite positions were first base and pitcher. The highlight of each game were the treats at the end, of course! He definitely was not one of the strongest players on the team, but he enjoyed it. He said he liked it when Mom came to watch, instead of Dad, because Mom cheers really loud. I'm happy to know my kids appreciate my big mouth! Taking Emily and Wyatt to the games was tough because they thought they needed to be on the field too.Honestly, I was thrilled when we left the last game! A great thing about our little town is that t-ball only costs $25 to participate, and they play in about 20 games! This year, each player was given a trophy at the end of the season. Caleb thought that was pretty cool and it is now on display in our family room. Way to go buddy!
