The girl's room is much bigger, painted in a beautiful light purple color scheme, so I think I had tried to tell myself that this baby would be a girl. You know, for mere convenience! Plus I love the frilly dresses and hair bows! So before going to the ultrasound appointment, we sat down as a family and all came to the conclusion that the baby is probably a boy! I saw "it" instantly on the screen and started to giggle! We're thrilled to add a new destructor to the home and I'm trying not to think of any possible trouble that Wyatt and his new baby brother will get into!
He gave us a clear thumbs up during the ultrasound session, and would NOT move his hands from his face! SO ADORABLE! He's moving around and kicking like crazy, reminding me he's there. I love feeling movement from the baby, and it's one of the things I miss after pregnancy! It's hard to believe that we're past the halfway point already, and before we know it, I'll be trimming 100 finger and toenails a week!
Emily keeps talking to my tummy and says she loves her new baby. She wants to name him Pine cone. When we suggest any other names to her, like "David", she says that that's a name for the mean boy that puts her in jail!
