Finally, an "invention" that does not impose an immediate threat of severe bodily harm or destruction to the house! When the strings broke off of some of Emily's birthday balloons, we had some instant drama. High vaulted ceilings, crying little kids, and a short mom made for one dire situation. Caleb came up with a great solution! One ladder, a broomstick, one whisk, and a roll of duct tape. (Duct tape was a Christmas gift from Grandma Johnson, genius!) He was so proud, and I was too!
