The annual Taylor Sweet Corn Festival began with a parade which was pretty lacking this year. The kids got a box full of otter pops from the Basha's float. Emily and Wyatt loved them! It was pretty cold and cloudy, but the games in the rodeo arena still went on. Nothing says American moment like a bunch of kids playing tug of war in the mud, it was really funny!
The moment I purchased the all-you-can-bounce wristbands for Caleb and Brooklyn ($20) it started to dump rain like buckets. They shut everything down. We went home for lunch, and came back when the rain cleared. The kids had a blast, and I have to admit, I did a great job at not giving in to all the other "carnie" stuff!
Wyatt got really scared when the firetrucks honked their horns and ran the sirens.
Caleb had no fear on the rock wall. He climbed it over and over!
