Dance

Brooklyn had her annual dance recital last month. Isn't she beautiful? She loves recital time! The attention, new fancy outfits and makeup! She was placed at the very front of the formation for her dance, and she loved that! The song was "My Girl". It's fun to see her progress to doing real choreography and not just the standard preschool moves. Grandma Johnson and Jason's 2 sisters went to watch, they gave her flowers afterwards. Again, Brooklyn loved that!

Usually halfway through the year, I ask myself if driving her to Show Low 2 times a week is worth it, and the recital's always remind me that it is! Am I really just living my personal childhood wishes through my daughter? Absolutely yes! And it is worth it!
