We love to go camping and had promised the kids a trip over spring break. It started snowing as we left the house, but we decided to stick it out. The next day the snow melted and the sun came out.
To quote our friend Kolby, "Camping just to camp? That's so lame! What do you guys do anyways?" Well.....we play with fire, cook absolutely delicious meals, shoot guns, ride bikes, ride the quad, go hiking, play games, read stories, and usually do some kind of craft. One of the perks is that all the kids will go to sleep at sunset, and it's probably the only time we can be together as a family without any distractions. We love these moments!
This was our first time out since Wyatt started walking, and it was so fun watching him explore all of the new things. He literally played until he fell asleep in his tracks!

I love camping...and for no reason too! Saul always thinks you have to have a purpose. I guess I am with you...the food is purpose enough! I'm glad the snow melted for you...looks like you had a good time!
