Walmart

Yesterday I ran up to Walmart without the kids to pick up a few more items. I went to the gun counter to buy a box of bullets for Jason, I knew he'd love them! The clerk told me the total, I swiped my card, and then he asked for I.D. which I didn't have. I didn't bring in my wallet, I had just stuck my debit card in my pocket. I told him I've never had to show I.D. before when purchasing ammo. He said, "Well you must be 21, and I can't sell this to you without proof." I started laughing and asked if he was serious, he didn't think anything was funny. Luckily, one of Jason's young men who had just come home from his mission was in line next to me. He asked the clerk if he could buy the ammo for me. The clerk said, "Only to get her out of the store." (Still not smiling.) I was able to get the .9 mm's and I told the clerk he made my day. So thank you Walmart worker, for making one "almost" 29 year old feel very cool!
