The Johnson Family: What do you do in the summertime?

After the last day of school, we sat around the table for a family meeting. Jason and I let the kids know that we were not going to be taking any big trips this summer, probably not even going to Mesa. We all brainstormed and came up with a list of things to do that weren't too far from home. I loved hearing some of the kids ideas, they're pretty creative! We kept the list on the fridge, this really helped me out on those "I'm too big and pregnant to do anything days!" It was nice that we already had this customized plan, I didn't have to think too hard! When all was said and done, I think we had a great summer!

I got to put on girls camp for our ward this year, Jason got to be there the entire time. We had a blast! My sister in law Michelle kept our kids. It's amazing how much cleaner you stay when you're not camping with little ones!
