My two sisters, my
niece and I entered all of our kids in the
Pinedale Race to the Bridge this year. The last time we did this, my kids didn't bother with the stroller, they just sprinted the whole way, so I assumed that Wyatt would be the same. BIG mistake! He ran for about 30 feet and decided he was done!! Do you know what it's like to drag a two year old for a mile while you're big and pregnant?! My saving grace was a random puppy that I coaxed Wyatt into following down the
road. All the other kids had a great time! I was officially the last person to cross the line for the mile, (which
should have been a piece of cake!) as I literally dragged Wyatt behind me. My sister Sherry placed 3rd in the 6.27k, and I ate Cindy's dust as she ran past me (laughing, of course) in the 3.27k. They serve a pancake breakfast to all the participants afterwards, which is really great for all of us! To sum it up, it's just a fun family event! Very low key, nice weather and scenery, good company. We'll definitely do it again!

When we got home, Wyatt was so excited to tell everyone about the race that he ran, how he was fast when they said "On your mark, get set, go!" and that he was the winner of everybody. Go figure!

If I remember right you were'nt the last one. You were second to last. You beat Wyatt. See! A bright side!
