Jason and I do "time outs" with the kids every once in awhile.Time out is a good thing at our house. One kid gets to choose one thing to go and do with one parent. Caleb wanted to go on a date with Mom to his favorite restaurant, Eva's. Brooklyn wanted to go on a very long horseback ride with Dad. Our horse Star is getting up there in age, and we don't know how much longer she'll be in the family. She's great with the kids and Brooklyn adores her!
Lately if there even is a horseback ride, we quickly throw the kids on bareback and take them around the property a few times. Jason took the happy pair to a nearby water hole for cows. Brooklyn thought this was totally cool and told me her cowgirl adventure was really fun!
