Birthday Month

We have 3 birthday's in January, so we get to eat lots of cake this month. Emily will turn 3 on the 14th, Jason will be 35 on the 17th, and Brooklyn will 8 on the 25th. I can believe I have a child old enough to be baptized. I have feelings that are similar to when Brooklyn started school. Have we taught her enough? Will she know how to behave in certain situations? Is she ready for this? Of course she is! I just don't know if I am! Her baptism will be on Saturday, January 31st at 3:00 p.m. They still do the baptisms old school style up here, so we get to take care of everything ourselves, I'm excited. Brooklyn can't wait to get her own set of scriptures, and I'm hoping that a blizzard doesn't roll in that weekend.
I had a birthday cake discussion yesterday with Emily and asked her what she would like on her cake. She told me she wants a princess cake, Wyatt wants a toy cake, Caleb wants a monster truck cake, and Brooklyn wants a mad witch. I guess sister animosity can start pretty early!
