This morning, Brooklyn received the citizenship award from her school. All the kids come out to watch, and parents and grandparents show up too. They sing the school song, which is always hilarious because by the end, every one's off! Then the principle takes a picture of the recognized student and their family. I'm amazed at the entourage that shows up for some of these kids! We're proud of Brooklyn, who's a great student at school, and a superior reader, if I do say so myself! Honestly, I think she finally got it because we've actually got her to school before the bell rings for two weeks straight!
